Intralot Inc, the U.S.-based unit of Greek gaming supplier Intralot SA, has won a five-year contract extension in Washington DC. The company will continue to offer its services and products to DC Lottery and Charitable Games Control Board until 2020, Intralot said in a statement on Tuesday.
This includes terminals, peripheral devices and a communications network that links retailer terminals across the district to the central system, it added.
The package includes also additional services, “such as marketing support, hotline, maintenance and repair as well as field operations,” Intralot said.
“Intralot has received all five of the available 1-year extensions of its original contract dated March 30, 2010. The extensions will commence on March 30, 2015 and go through March 29, 2020,” it said. 바다이야기
“Intralot has been an extremely valuable partner with the DCLB … With these new channels and games, we have increased our sales and player base without cannibalising sales of other products,” Buddy Roogow, DC Lottery’s executive director, said in the statement.
Until June 2012, Intralot International Ltd was an investor in MelcoLot Ltd, a provider of services to mainland China’s official lotteries and a firm part-owned by Melco International Development Ltd, chaired by Macau casino investor Lawrence Ho Yau Lung. In 2010 MelcoLot won an order to provide Intralot equipment to the China Welfare Lottery in the municipality of Chongqing in southwest China.
